About

My name is Nathan, but when I had friends they used to call me “Tater” because of my love for baked potatoes which I had everyday for lunch. I am a huge advocate for mental health and suicide prevention be a suicide attempt survivor myself. I am very vocal about ending the stigma of mental health. I was recently diagnosed with Bipolar 1 Disorder with Psychotic features, a huge difference from the miss diagnosis by my primary care doctor that diagnosed me with adjustment disorder. I am still in the early stages of learning how to effectively manage my disorder but decided to create a blog to share my thoughts and experiences from the day. I am new to the world of therapy, but have one of the best therapist who has single handedly changed my outlook on life.
